This Custom Zelda Arcade Cabinet Is a Blast from the Past

The early Zelda titles never did get a chance to grace the floors of 80s arcades, but this mini Zelda arcade cabinet by Dragonfly Amusement just might make up for it. The golden-yellow cabinet adorned with familiar emblems from the series would be right at home in any arcade collection. You can get one of your own for €1199 (not including tax and shipping) and see it in action in this review video by Wicked Gamer & Collector.
The cabinet bears the series’ modern logo and a sprite of Link, as well as the original game’s box-art crest and 8-bit hearts. It includes a 24 inch LCD screen, two joysticks, 16 buttons, a trackball, and a coin slot (for authenticity). It also comes with a MicroSD card containing over 10,000 emulated games. I would love to have one of these at my place for the retro aesthetic as well as the fun of playing games the old-fashioned way.
What do you think of this custom-made machine? Is there anything about the design you would change? Share your thoughts in the comments!
