There’s Quicksilver and the Flash. There are Pegasus Boots. There’s even that one jerk who runs in Ocarina of Time. Yet, I’ve never seen someone as fast as this artist named Linvalin. In a mere two minutes, Linvalin is able to sketch and color a beautiful portrait of Midna, who is objectively the best sidekick in the history of The Legend of Zelda.

Seriously, the artists’ hands are flashing on and off the screen. They appear for one frame and then leave. It’s almost as if they are converting hours of work into a minuscule fraction of that time. But that kind of technology doesn’t exist, so this has to be real. What’s a time-lapse?

The superhuman speed of the artist’s hands may be a fascinating feat never before seen by mankind, but the finished artwork can stand as a great piece of artwork as well. Midna has never looked better than on a piece of paper.

Check out the neat little video up above. The finished product is worth it.
