Screen Shot 2015-09-27 at 9.23.07 AMThis Friday the 25th of September marked the Grand Opening for the first ever Think Geek retail location  in Orlando, Florida. Think Geek has long been a purveyor of amazing Zelda inspired goods, from a leather bound journal, to a Zelda dress, and of course the Dark Horse statue of Twilight Princess Link, and many more! The shops opening was marked by a special VIP Event with a special appearance by Chloe Dykstra, actress and cosplayer, held on the 24th for invited guests only, and an official Grand Opening held on the morning of the 25th with goodies and special deals given out to the first customers, including 20% off of the Link and Ganondorf statues! Throngs of happy customers spent much time at the newly opened retail mecca of nerdy goods, and I was ecstatic to see that our green clad hero Link was represented well! Front and center, right at the entrance is Link in all his statue glory, and as you pursue the rest of the store you can find a slew of Zelda inspired goods, as well as much, much more! Think Geek’s first brick and mortar store is located inside the Florida Mall, one of the most frequented malls in all of Orlando for not only locals, but tourists from all over the world. This won’t be their only location, currently they are already planning openings of two more locations — New York and Texas. So keep your eyes peeled because you might be one of the lucky ones to get Think Geek to come to a mall near you!
