Japanese toy company Hanayama is famous for its cast disassembly puzzles, known as “Huzzles.” Last year, the company expanded its range with three Huzzles based on The Legend of Zelda. The set consists of the Triforce, the Hyrule Crest, and the Master Sword.

The challenge of each is to figure out how to take the puzzle apart, and then reassemble it to its former glory. Each Huzzle has a MENSA difficulty rating, ranging from “Level 1 – Fun” to “Level 6 – Grand Master.” The Triforce is the easiest of the set at Level 4, the Hyrule Crest ups the difficulty to Level 5, and, rightly, the Master Sword has been assigned the Grand Master rating.

The puzzles are widely available from online retailers for about $18.17 USD each, including:

These puzzles are beautifully made and would make a stunning addition to any Zelda collection. You can choose to admire them on the shelf or to embrace the challenge they provide.

After looking at these Huzzles, I decided that I needed to own one of them and ordered the Master Sword! It has just arrived, and while it is small, it is perfectly formed. I’ve shown it next to my Link amiibo so that you can get an idea of the actual size.

What do you think? Would you like to own a Zelda Huzzle? And would you be brave enough to take it apart? Let us know in the comments below!
