This morning, Nintendo released a trailer showing that Monster Hunter Stories, the latest spinoff of the Monster Hunter franchise, will be receiving Legend of Zelda DLC this week on September 28th. The DLC will include Epona as your tamed monster, as well as Link’s traditional green outfit and the Master Sword. Additionally, the DLC will include Majora’s Mask as a special helmet for your palico companion.

As a long time fan of the Monster Hunter series, I love seeing Zelda DLC in the games. Such content usually ends up being the armor set, weapons, and (in this case) monster that I use by the end-game.

But what do you guys think? Does the DLC look like it’s worth it to you? Do you want to run around the world of Monster Hunter on Epona? Let us know in the comments below!

Jarrod Raine is a Monster Hunter fanatic and will be playing Monster Hunter World when it comes out. If you want to watch him play it when it eventually comes out for PC or mock him that it’s coming after the PS4 and Xbox One versions, check out his Twitch and Twitter!
