During the Super Smash Bros. Direct today, Masahiro Sakurai announced that there are a total of 103 stages in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, more than any other Super Smash Bros. game.
These stages will all be available from the start of the game, with 100 of the stages having Omega and Battlefield versions. Many favorites are making a return, like Hyrule Castle from the original Smash, Skyloft, and Pirate Ship. In addition, stages can morph as the fighting goes on. The stages are arranged in chronological order as well.
