Bombers

Over at Zelda Informer, the article writing team known as The Bombers has recently reached their 50th article milestone. The group has been writing articles about The Legend of Zelda series since back in ’07, and continue to release articles, chiefly revolving around Zelda theorizing.

On Friday the latest article, entitled The Oocca: Engineers of Hyrule, was released. In this article, Ben Spyrou explains some of his theories on the mysterious Oocca. He looks at both their creation, their influence upon the Hylian culture and where they are today. Analyzing various Oocca creations, he explains how the Oocca were a very technologically advanced race, however as time rolled on, the magic in the land of Hyrule came to overshadow their achievements. It further presents the possibility that The Wind Tribe took over the City in the Sky in an age after Oocca inhabitation.

The piece also looks into other potential creations of the Oocca, like The Temple of Time and even The Tower of the Gods, based on similarities in design. Whether the points raised are true or not is up for personal interpretation, but the article sure does raise them as highly probable in a logical and easy to understand manner. Regardless of whether or not you agree, this read will definitely get your thoughts flowing on the many possibilities there are about the Oocca. Definitely a worthwhile read for anyone into Zelda theorizing.
