“The Hyrulean Age” T-Shirt

Just a couple weeks ago we posted on a limited-time t-shirt which was an unusual crossover: Zelda and the TV show How I Met Your Mother.

Today we have an even more limited time t-shirt which is an even more unusual crossover: Zelda with the movie Conan the Barbarian.

This shirt was clearly designed by someone who was not only a big fan of Zelda, but also a very knowlegable Conan fan. The name of the shirt (“The Hyrulean Age”) refers to the much-touted “Hyboria Age” in which Conan takes place. The very design and pose of Link and Zelda seem to reference not only the more recent 2011 Conan film with Conan standing on a hill of skulls:

but also the original 1982 film with regards to Link and Zelda’s positioning.
