The Great Plateau Might Have Been in a Different Location in Breath of the Wild, According to this Theory Video

NintendoBlackCrisis recently uploaded a YouTube video that attempted to solve the mystery of the Great Plateau in Breath of the Wild. The location of the landmass has always seemed a little off to some players, and, with the help of Archnoble, BlackNitendoCrisis thinks he has finally figured out what happened, as land between the Great Plateau and the Lost Woods seemed to have swapped.

Archnoble brought to NintendoBlackCrisis’s attention the similarities of the two landmasses, such as their shape and size.  Also, NintendoBlackCrisis points out how the location of the areas of both the plateau and the Korok Forest could hearken back to Ocarina of Time. With the things that the swap would change within the rest of Hyrule, the theory that the Great Plateau was transported from point to another seems credible. As for how and why, BlackNintendoCrisis speculates that a goddess moved the landmass and that the reason for doing so had to do with keeping the Master Sword safe.
