The Adventure on the Great Sea Gets Downsized in this Wind Waker De-Make Animation Video

The Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game of all-time. This is something I have said on a very consistent basis when it comes to talking about this game. So far be it from me that something as simple as a what-if concept video gets me excited for a game I already love.
The folks over at Nintendo Wire have come out with yet another “De-Make” of a classic Zelda game. They have done consistently amazing work that makes you wish these concept animations were real. The one we’re looking at today is a Game Boy Color “De-Make” of The Wind Waker.
In this concept video, it shows a brief glimpse of what it would look like if you were to visit Dragon Roost Island in a style similar to that of Oracle of Ages/Seasons. The music provided is MIDI covers to the Great Sea theme and the Dragon Roost Island theme. Everything about this makes me wish I could be playing this right now.
Of course, this isn’t the first Zelda game Nintendo Wire have done a “De-Make” for. They’ve tackled such titles as Link’s Awakening, Ocarina of Time, and Breath of the Wild.
What do you think of this “De-Make”? Do you wish you could be able to play The Wind Waker like this? Let us know in the comments below!
