Cole Rolland and Bryce Goertzen bring us a new sound that we all find quite familiar. The “Song of Storms” like you have never heard before, a metalcore remix. For those of you who don’t know what metalcore is, it is a mix between extreme metal and hardcore punk. How does that sound for you? Link shredding on the guitar in a hair band? Well don’t get your hopes up, instead it is just two normal fans with extreme talent…

Do you consider yourself a serious Zelda fan? Does the intensity of your passion for Zelda often raise the eyebrows of people around you? Me too, and like you I don’t think twice about it. Zelda fans, however, will be shocked to learn that Christwire–a site purporting to be a conservative Christian website–has accused Zelda fans, the “Legendary Zelda cultists” as they put it, of summoning Hurricane Sandy. I’ve always been interested to see what other bands and orchestras can do with music from The Legend of Zelda, and one very recent video uploaded to YouTube about a week ago is pretty impressive. Uploaded by user normallife, the four and a half minute clip features the Allatoona High School Wind Ensemble playing a variation of the “Song of Storms” entitled “A Storm in the Desert”. While some parts of the song aren’t based off of the “Song of…

Over at Busted Tees, a brand new Legend of Zelda t-shirt is now up for sale. This one is simply entitled Song of Storms and you can see it pictured to the left. As you can see, it has the notes from the song of storms, along with the phrase Make it Rain. Selling at the price-point of $20, I think this is an alright t-shirt, but not something I’ll be shelling over the money for. These types of shirts…

YouTube user, SeedsofYaris, sent a video to one of our staff members of the group BADBADNOTGOOD doing a remix of some classic Zelda songs. This video runs almost ten minutes and is broken down into three parts. It starts off with the title theme of Ocarina of Time, followed by Saria’s Song, and ends strong with the Song of Storms. Each of these songs BADBADNOTGOOD added their own style to, making it a unique listening experience as most of us…
