Update: The Nintendo UK site has since changed the listed release date to June 30th.

While the rumors regarding confirmation or denial of the release of Majora’s Mask 3D are no longer relevant, those surrounding the release date of the newly confirmed title are just beginning.  The first of these (of which we are aware) comes from the Nintendo UK Store, which puts the title at a surprisingly early release date.  According to their official website, the highly-anticipated title will hit store shelves on…

Zelda U’s release date was mentioned first by Eiji Aonuma, producer, during a Nintendo Digital Event at E3 2014. Most fans however have probably decided that the chances of there being truth behind that are slim, considering Nintendo’s track record on keeping with their announced releases. But, this is certainly not the case! Find out more after the jump! Stephen ChristopherI’m 18 years old, residing in Staten Island, New York; fairly close to the city. I’m an avid Legend of…

We call this a rumor simply because we can’t verify the validity of a preorder card, though it certainly does look legit. This also makes it land right before Black Friday, which is truly the most likely release period for the game regardless of any other given evidence. I have a feeling the only reason it hasn’t been announced officially yet has to do with not wanting to overshadow the 3DS release, but frankly they shouldn’t be too worried. We already know it’s coming out in November. That being said, what do you think of the given evidence for the date? Is it legit…

For those unaware, there are a couple live streams going on this Friday that will be featuring Smash Bros. The first is from NicoNico in Japan. They will be streaming Super Smash Bros. for 3DS just before the game itself is available at retail. The second stream (and the one more relevant to us) will be hosted by Nintendo Treehouse. They are going to be streaming the Holiday lineup of games at 10AM PT this Friday. Among those games will be Smash Bros. What’s more, a Nintendo Rep during a GameStop conference confirmed that the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U release date will be revealed…

Last week we posted a rumored release date for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U based upon the words of a GameStop employee. Today, at least three more retailers are now listing the game for that date, suggesting Nintendo may have very well already informed retailers of when the product can be expected to release for pre-order purposes. No additional information on a possible Amiibo related bundle has come up.

While this is a rumor, it does come from a fairly reliable retail source at GameStop who spoke with the folks over at MyNintendoNews. According to the source, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be releasing on November 21st along with a bundle that includes one Amiibo Figure. We aren’t sure if every copy of Smash will have the figure or of it’s a separate special edition bundle ordeal. It could also very well be a pre-order bonus that might be exclusive to GameStop. Although we have no North American or European release date for Hyrule Warriors as of yet, its Japanese publisher, Tecmo Koei, has confirmed in their financial report that Hyrule Warriors will be released in Japan this Summer. Tecmo Koei released this news instead of Nintendo because Nintendo is only handling the publishing of Hyrule Warriors in the Western market. As for what that means for the rest of the world, we know that the game is near or even at completion; so with E3 right around the corner, there a very strong possibility for a solid release date for other countries!

If you’re unfamiliar with Hyrule Warriors, head inside for a brief summary.

Currently, Saturdays seem to be the top day for Nintendo gaming launches in Australia and the release for A Link Between Worlds is no exception. Nintendo Australia has just sent out the latest press release stating that the upcoming Zelda title for 3DS will be launching on November 23rd in the land down under. As we already know, there are more than one way of obtaining The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and digitally certainly offers some nice early access. While the physical copies of the game will be going on sale early in October (late September for Japan), digital copies will go on sale a couple of weeks earlier, specifically on September 20th.

Unfortunately, it looks like European Legend of Zelda fans won’t be getting any earlier access. In Nintendo’s Wind Waker HD press release, there was no mention of a digital launch for Europe, and when contacted about it by VideoGamer.com, Nintendo confirmed that Europe would not be getting early digital access. Nintendo’s exact response was the following: “The US launch date is September 20th. The EU launch date is the 4th October.

No reason was actually given as to why there would be no early download release for Europe.

Zelda Dungeon reported earlier that The Wind Waker HD‘s Wii U bundle and special edition would not be coming to Australia and New Zealand. Unfortunately, those countries aren’t the only ones that will miss out on a part of the game’s release. Nintendo has confirmed that the early downloadable version of the game confirmed for North America will not be available in Europe. More after the jump.
