It comes as no surprise that characters from The Legend of Zelda often make appearances in more than just one title, since most of Link’s adventures follow the same ancient prophecy. But aside from the core characters that are expected to return, many less important characters tend to pop up in multiple titles in one way or another as well. Several weeks back, I finally taught myself to whistle. My favorite thing to do with this new super power? Find the right songs and whistle the hell out of them! So, naturally, many of The Legend of Zelda‘s fantastic tracks were among some of the first to make their way onto my list. The way many of them have been composed to allow for those catchy bits you play using the series’ many notable in-game instruments makes Zelda tunes just fantastic for whistling.

So, I pose a question to all of you:

which songs from The Legend of Zelda do you find best for whistling?

Personally, “Deku Palace,” “Dragon Roost Island,” and “Saria’s Song” would probably be my favorites, with “Bolero of Fire” being a fairly close runner up. Now what about you?
