Earlier this year, Good Smile Company unveiled one of its latest editions in their large lineup of Nendoroid Figures at Wonder Festival in Japan. The upcoming figure was said to be based on Link from Majora’s Mask, and if we use the design of Link from The Wind Waker as reference, it was sure to be absolutely adorable! At the time no prototypes of the Nendoroid were shown but now thanks to Twitter user FoxDorame and the My Figure Collection website…

In the recent Iwata Asks, the team discussed the development of A Link Between Worlds. Like many of Nintendo’s games, the creation of A Link Between Worlds was quite an ordeal. Because Zelda games take so many resources, the beginning of the newest game’s development was rather rocky. At the London Toy Fair in January 2013, some prototypes for new Zelda statues were revealed. Fans were able to see these statues once more at San Diego Comic-Con.  The statues consist of Link and Pirate Captain Scervo from Skyward Sword and Link and Ganondorf from Twilight Princess. These statues are going to be produced by Unbox Industries and distributed in the United States by Dark Horse, the same company who released Hyrule Historia. This year at London’s annual Toy Fair fans walked around and marveled at all of the toys, games, and hobbies they had to offer. Earlier in the week, a Legend of Zelda prototype cartridge appeared on eBay with the listed price of $150k. Well, it’s finally sold for the price of $55k putting it in the record books for the largest sum of money a Nintendo Entertainment System game has sold for. Legend of Zelda Prototype Found

Over winter break, a few guys got their hands on a lost Zelda no Densetsu (Legend of Zelda) disk. However, this disk didn’t contain the original Legend of Zelda, but rather it contained a lost prototype. This lost prototype contains an alternative version of the game with different sprites, different versions of the dungeons, etc. The prototype makes collecting rupees a lot easier, leading to more frequent maxed out wallets.
