Many collectors in the Legend of Zelda series have always been looking for anything to add to their collection. And one of the biggest collectors items out there are Prima’s Game Guides which are usually released alongside a new release Zelda game. Prima knows that there are collectors out there, so they create limited edition Collector’s Edition Guides. And for the past few guides they have packaged a surprise with the Collector’s Edition Guide. The Skyward Sword guide came with…

Prima, the folks probably best known for publishing mountains of gaming walkthroughs, has published their top ten list for The Legend of Zelda series. It’s not terribly controversial or anything—Ocarina of Time takes the top spot—but it is notable that A Link Between Worlds landed so high on the list, coming it at number four. Tenth place goes to Link’s Awakening.

Head past the jump to Prima’s top ten Zelda games.

Ever wonder how the things you buy are put together? Well, in anticipation of the release of their new Zelda Box Set, Prima’s uploaded some pictures and information about just how they make the treasure chest box! Though a lot of details went into the design of the box, the actual manufacturing process seems relatively simple, especially because there’s a limited number of them being produced. Hit the jump for some pictures and information!

Many fans have been waiting for Prima’s Zelda guide box set since the very first reveal of it. The set includes six collector’s edition guides for the six most recently released games, excluding A Link Between Worlds. Also included is a laser etched bookmark, an individually numbered certificate of authenticity, and a treasure chest case to top it all off. We are getting very close to the release of the set. That being said, more photos have been revealed. Check…

Looking forward to Prima’s upcoming box set for their special edition Zelda guides? Well, someone managed to snap a few photos of the product out in the open and in a display case, and it looks gorgeous to say the least. The boxed set contains six hardcover guidebooks for six separate Zelda titles, none of which are A Link Between Worlds, sadly.

The boxed set is a one time deal, and it will only receive a single print run, so get your pre-orders in while you can! Unless you’re rich, it’ll be a pretty pricey buy (running for $108 on Amazon), considering it comes out four days after A Link Between Worlds is released, especially with its 3DS XL bundle, which runs at $220.

Wondering which you should buy? If it’s any consolation, the boxed set comes with a signature and special message from Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma himself! It’s a difficult decision, so consult your wallet and buy!

In concordance with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD on the Wii U, Amazon has started taking pre-orders of the Prima Games guide for the game. The guide is a collector’s edition, which promises many great things for anyone looking for all of the secrets to be found in the Great Sea.

According to the product description, the guide will feature a walkthrough that covers each and every area of the game, strategies to help out with any confusing puzzle or difficult boss, a reveal of all of the secrets to be found along the journey, the answers to every side quest mission and when they come up, a hard cover with gold gilded pages, and a cloth map of the Great Sea. All together it is the total package, with awesome little bonuses found in the hard cover and the map.

With the recent unveiling of The Legend of Zelda Box Set of Prima guides, it is a great time to be a Zelda guide collector. I may end up picking this beauty up myself; it’s been awhile since I’ve sailed the Great Sea. Also available is the collector’s edition guide for the brand new Zelda adventure, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, which would be worth a look for any Zelda fan.

And don’t forget, even if you don’t pick up this guide, we will still have our own complete The Wind Waker HD Walkthrough ready when the game releases this fall (and we won’t even charge you for it)!

When Ocarina of Time was first released in 1998 for the N64, Miyamoto and other developers made no secret of the fact that it was the very first game in the Zelda timeline. It was written to coincide with the events of the Imprisoning War in the backstory of A Link to the Past, which was itself a prequel to the original two games. As the series progressed however, questions arose about how consistent Ocarina of Time’s story was with…

One of my favorite hobbies in the Zelda world is collecting Zelda based strategy guides, both old and new. About a year ago we launched our Zelda Strategy Guides page and published guides were steadily being added to the page as time went one. However, it reached a standstill for awhile, but I’m glad to announce today that we are ready to relaunch the page with tons of new goodies for you. The page now includes 42 different published strategy…
