It’s no surprise that the latest Nintendo Direct about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U exceeded our expectations about the Wii U version of the game. This is proven thanks to the rise in the preorders of the game. According to Nintendo CEO of Japan, Satoru Iwata, the Nintendo Direct helped to differentiate the Wii U version from the Nintendo 3DS version, with 50 different features and differences…

Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing the second wave of Amiibo figures in December (19th in Europe, 31st in America). There are six new figures which include Princess Zelda, Diddy Kong, Pit, Luigi, Captain Falcon, and Little Mac. Pre-orders for the Amiibo figures have now opened at certain retailers and all links can be found inside…

Preordering is kind of a mixed bag these days. Sure, there are numerous incentives to the practice, such as bonus content and the firm knowledge that you will be able to get the game on launch day; but there is also a bit of a risk, as you don’t know for certain what you’re going to get until you already have the game in your hands. There’s very little time for rumors and reviews to deter you from preordering a game that ends up bad—the Aliens: Colonial Marines debacle made that abundantly clear…

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U amiibo pre-orders finally started up a little over a week ago and have been dominating the video game charts of Amazon ever since. Canada in particular has almost every amiibo in the Top 20 Best Sellers’ list right now, which is pretty impressive to say the least…

Hyrule Warriors continues to climb the sales chart for video game related products on Amazon as we approach the launch date on September 26th. At the time of this post it is sitting at number 16, but it seems to be rising up the list every single day. It’s also worth noting that the Link Amiibo is still in the top 10, yet it hasn’t sold out like some of the other Amiibos have. It seems Nintendo must have known the Link Amiibo would be the most popular one out the gate, given they are supplying more pre-order stock than the rest…

Have you ever wanted to cosplay as Link or Ravio from A Link Between Worlds? Even if you don’t, it’s hard to deny the charm that their caps possess. Luckily enough, it seems as if NCSX Games and Toys has opened up pre-orders for both Link and Ravio’s caps. Hit the jump to learn more!

Zelda Wii U isn’t set to be released for some time now, but it is already available for preorder on Amazon. Could this game be the product of the video teasers from several months ago? Hit the jump to read more!

While the content of the game itself has made for plenty of interesting information for our walkthrough, it would be a shame if we forgot the reason why Americans are still grumbling about their pre-orders for Hyrule Warriors: the scarf, not to mention the other goodies from the Treasure Box set still exclusive to Japan. While we know that European fans will have an opportunity to obtain the fashionable Hyrulean garb, their chance is still…

We all see the fun and creative Zelda merchandise online: handmade heart pieces, plushes and clothing, but rarely do we see items like that released from the source. Lucky for us, Nintendo UK has heard our wishes and is here to grant them with an amazing – and practical – Zelda accessory. Hit the jump to see more!

We’ve known for awhile that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U would be getting a GameCube Controller bundle that included the GCN controller adapter and one Smash Bros. themed controller. We’ve heard little about the bundle since, but now it is available to pre-order on Amazon. The bundle costs $99 USD, which isn’t too shabby considering you are getting a $60 packed game, a controller, plus an addon device for the Wii U itself.

I am still undecided if the bundle will be my preferred choice of purchase, but I might consider buying it anyways just because my friends love playing…
