One of the most memorable battles in Ocarina of Time is Link’s duel with Dark Link, the personification of our hero’s dark side. As they say, you are your own worst enemy, and Dark Link lends truth to that saying with his mind-bending move mirroring. Evoking the high-stakes emotions of this battle is Adam Scythe’s water color speed painting Dark Link vs. Link...

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always wanted a card deck in a Zelda theme. While one doesn’t exist officially out of Nintendo, fans across the globe have been creating their very own for years. The latest efforts are really impressive and I couldn’t help but get a little chuckle out of Tingle being the joker card. Have a look at a bunch of cards from the deck in our gallery. This deck was custom created for imgur user jamieoliver22

Fans love to customize amiibo, but what do you do when the amiibo itself hasn’t been released yet? Naturally, you create your own! In this case, Instagram user Gallynette put together her own super cute Yarn Yoshi figures, dressed as our favorite hero. I think you can agree that it is super cute! She didn’t stop with Link Yoshi, however, as you can see below in our gallery. What do you think…

Have you ever yearned for a world style map that takes a massive amount of video game worlds and smashes them together to make something totally awesome? I know I have. Thanks to a creator over at iam8bit, that reality has come true with what is being dubbed the Videogames World Map. On it many different video game worlds have been combined, but for us Zelda fans I’ll make it a bit easy for you. Outside of the sea areas they have included the Master Sword, Hyrule, Termina, and King of the Red Lions. I do have a true test for you folks though – how many different video game worlds…

It takes some talent to paint something Zelda related and make it look as if it could actually be a screenshot from one of the games. That’s basically what reddit user benthunderbolt did with a few of his oil paintings that he shared with fellow Zelda fans over on Imgur. This one here is of the opening screen from Ocarina of Time. It’s so well done, and so identical to the real deal, I can almost see Link and Epona…

Hey there, everybody! We’ve caught wind that some in our community have a hankering to show off their Zelda collections. Well, I’d like to set up a place for everybody to do just that. That’s right; we’re giving you all a chance to exhibit all your Zelda merch, Zelda art projects, and other cool Zelda stuff. After you check out some collections held by members of the ZI staff, head on down to the comments and share your own. We may even pick our favorites to include in a future article…

Over the last few months, artist David Pilatowsky has been releasing a series of amazing watercolor artworks that combine Legend of Zelda characters and Pokémon. We’ve seen an array of different Pocket Monsters dressed up in Zelda attire; we’ve seen ones that take on the role of our favorite heroes and our favorite villains. This week, Pilatowsky released his fourth set of crossover art, this time bringing Pokémon into the world of Majora’s Mask

The world of creating customized amiibo have been going strong since day one, but today we discovered what has to be the best Zelda U custom amiibo we have seen to date. Deviantart user PixelCollie has been customizing amiibo for awhile now, but their new creation has quickly become a favorite. Personally, the only drawback (ha, get it?) is that it doesn’t depict the shiny blue arrow point, but technically from the trailer we saw that point doesn’t exist until Link activates, making this job perfectly acceptable as is. Of course it could simply be a bomb arrow, but it’s not clarified…

Hello Zelda fans, and welcome to the newest installment of ZD Gallery, where every other Sunday we showcase an artist and the work they’ve created in tribute to the Zelda franchise. For today, allow us to introduce Ronan Lynam, a freelance illustrator and designer who’s passion is creating promotional and retail pieces of art for several different franchises. Naturally, since this is Zelda Dungeon, we zeroed in on his Zelda inspired creations and fell in love with his unique style….

Zelda fans find a new way to surprise me every single day, and it has happened again thanks to artist Marie Bergeron. She has re-imagined a slew of of Zelda items in a great art style. She also sells prints of much of her work, but more on that later. Her art invokes classic old school feeling that tugs at my heart strings while systematically making me want even more. You can find much more of her work over on her Tumblr page or buy some of her prints on her store. Are you loving her art as much as we are?
