Europe has received a downloadable trailer on their 3DS eShop for Majora’s Mask 3D. We have that trailer for your viewing pleasure, but naturally downloading it for yourself will give you a great taste of the full 3D effect. Unfortunately, a similar trailer has yet to be released in North America, though we do have several stores with demo stations, including Best Buy and GameStop. The trailer gives a nice overview of the experience we’ll all enjoy in fully remastered form in just 8 days. Be sure to check back for all of our coverage of the game, including a comprehensive…

It’s been a while since the release of Nintendo’s first 3D Zelda remake. Physical copies are getting harder and harder to find, so most fans download the game directly to their console now. There is a newly discovered rumor as to why this is is the case.

Social media today will be riddled with “Throwback Thursdays” as people post memories for the world to see and look back on. But nobody does “Throwback Thursday” like Nintendo. That was all just a terrible joke leading into some exciting sales from Nintendo’s Throwback Sale promotion. From now until 11:59 AM ET on January 29th, a small handful of games are getting the on sale treatment including a couple of games from the Legend of Zelda series…

With the recent addition of themes for the 3DS, many people have now customized their handheld’s home screens to feature their favorite Nintendo characters or series. Even though The Legend of Zelda is one of the company’s biggest franchises, it actually doesn’t have that many themes from which to choose. Players in Europe actually have one fewer Zelda theme available than those in Japan and North America. That is, until this coming Friday rolls around…

Wii U Deluxe owners can continue to earn digital points through their eShop purchases thanks to Nintendo’s extension of the Deluxe Digital Promotion through April 1. The program was originally scheduled to end on December 31, 2014, but Nintendo changed the deadline at the last second…

When it was originally announced that retailer-exclusive DLC would be releasing alongside the crossover title, Hyrule Warriors, few fans were left feeling particularly thrilled.  While this was a move befitting of Koei Tecmo and their Dynasty Warriors series, this was something rare in Nintendo’s history at the time (less so now with regards to the wave three amiibo figures), and forced gamers to not only commit to a pre-order if they wished to gain their preferred costume, but also to forsake the other two sets. Add to this…

Remember back in August when we told you about the pre-order exclusive Hyrule Warriors DLC costume sets? Didn’t pre-order? Fear not – they’re now available on the European eShop! Priced at €0.99 (£0.89) each, the Twilight PrincessSkyward SwordOcarina of Time, and Demon King costume sets are a great addition to your Hyrule Warriors experience…

Earlier, we told you about a Halloween-themed The Legend of Zelda 3DS theme hitting the Japanese e-Shop. Now, a Skyward Sword 3DS theme has also been announced for the e-Shop, over on Nintendo of Japan’s YouTube channel

This week was a good week for the The Legend of Zelda series in terms of eShop sales. The top three spaces belonged to the Zelda franchise, while another game slipped its way into the mix. The top three games were…

Hyrule Warriors has been out for a couple of days in Europe, and the European eShop added a little something to celebrate. Considering that I do not live in Europe, I cannot confirm that this special event is ongoing. However, we do have a video that features the eShop background music playing the remixed Zelda theme from Koei Tecmo’s new game. There is no confirmation that this event is coming to the States; but with the game coming out this Friday, it is possible that you may hear the familiar song the next time you go online…
