Hello, fellow Zelda Dungeoners, and welcome again to Zelda Artist Exposition! This little feature series aims to bring great artists from the Zelda fan artwork community to greater recognition. I search through deviantART, reddit, and blogs to find artists to feature and I’ve compiled quite the list to continue featuring. If you know an artist you think should be featured, leave a comment with the artist’s information. The only requirements are they have to have at least three Zelda-related art…

Dark Link is one of Link’s most famous recurring foes, having appeared in six different Zelda games, with his similar-yet-different doppelganger, Shadow Link, appearing in a further two games. This means that some version of Dark Link has appeared, roughly, in every second Zelda game. So why are his roles in each game so small? Dark Link is Link’s opposite: everything that Link is, Dark Link isn’t. I believe that this could make for a very personal and beautiful storyline…

Hello readers! Brian here with the twelfth edition of “The Best and Worst of Zelda.” This topic has been frequently requested, but most recently by a user named JeredenDonnar, so thanks to everybody for their comments! Don’t forget to write a suggestion for next week’s topic in the comment section. Mini-bosses tend to remain unjustly forgotten. Sure, the dungeon boss is important for a climactic and memorable finish, but mini-bosses retain a very different kind of importance. They maintain the…

With The Wind Waker HD quickly approaching and a mysterious Zelda Wii U title lurking on the horizon, this summer has seen its fair share of fan speculation.  This got me thinking; what surprises or major changes would the fans like to see in future Zelda titles?  You may remember a fan campaign on Facebook asking Nintendo to give Princess Zelda a stronger role in response to Aonuma’s statement at E3, saying he would entertain the idea of a playable Princess…

Just recently, Exploding Rabbit has finally released its latest major update of Super Mario Bros. Crossover 3.0. In this third version, you can play as various forms of Link (original Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening), Zelda, the Old Man, Dark Link, or even Ralph from Oracle of Ages and more! You can even choose to have the Mario graphics, items, and sounds replaced with those from the Zelda series. Link and Mario characters together, in…

Dorkly, a website known for its geek culture humor, has once again made a comic starring Link — only this time, it’s Dark Link.

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like if Dark Link represented the opposites of Link concerning social skills rather than his moral compass, what Dark Link’s response to cuccos, or what Dark Link’s interactions with other characters might look like, then you should head past the jump to check out Dorkly’s latest Zelda comic!

In a recent comic on Dorkly we get an interesting look at a day in the life of Link’s dark side and total opposite Dark Link. Here we see Dark Link doing the reverse of all of Link’s actions and doing thinks Link would never do. However some of them might not exactly be be what you are expecting. Jump inside to check it out for yourself.

Corridor Digital is a pretty badass YouTube channel. For a good while now, they’ve been producing videos with interesting special effects. These are usually fight scenes, and often pay homage to a game or show that the dudes like. Today, they tackled The Legend of Zelda, and the result is a cinematic experience that honestly has me thinking we could make a good Zelda movie. I’m an extremely harsh critic when it comes to fan projects, but they’ve honestly blown me away with the quality of the scene.

Hit the jump to see Link cross swords with his dark alter ego!
