BitBlock, a website that constantly uploads HD footage of 3DS and Wii U games for our enjoyment, just gave us tons of great new footage from the Stage Builder and the All Star Mode in Smash Bros. Wii U, and it looks absolutely stunning.

As we know, the All Star Mode in this game is very similar to the one in the 3DS version, with the simple change that the order of characters has been reversed; rather than fight the older characters, like Pacman and Mario, first, and progressing to the newer fighters, you start with the newest fighters and slowly go down. The visuals are also completely new, and it’s generally a lot better.

The Stage Builder, on the other hand, has gone through a complete overhaul since Super Smash Bros. Brawl, with entirely new mechanics and options. Most notably, you can now draw your own platforms, rather than just choose the pre-made ones available on the Wii. In the video, Josh makes a few abstract designs over the Volcano theme of the Stage Builder, and gives us a fair view of all the features initially available.

What do you think? Are you excited for these features? What are you going to try and make on the Stage Builder?
