Earlier this week, we reported that players were getting banned from For Glory mode in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. This ban was caused by players using Peach’s turnip attack, which was being registered as an item after being thrown. Items are not allowed in For Glory mode, and the system was automatically placing the 24-hour ban on those players. Nintendo promised a fix would be available in a week’s time, and they quickly delivered. The version 1.0.2 update was pushed just a few days ago, fixing the bug as well as making a few other unspecified improvements.

It seems that Nintendo is getting better about fixing problems quickly after they are discovered, which shows just how much the company is listening to their fans. With this information, we can plan on some day one updates when the game releases stateside in just a couple of weeks.
