Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS Coming to EGX London 2014

We’ve got some pretty great news for our fans in or near the city of London. Along with a smorgasbord of upcoming titles for Wii U and 3DS, including

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Ultimate NES Remix, and Splatoon, Nintendo is bringing their soon to be released brawler to the gaming showcase. While the event will be held just over a week before the title’s official release, a number of exciting features make this a can’t miss for the biggest fans of Smash.

The demo being showcased here not only has additional characters, previously only playable in the Wii U version, but Classic, All-star, and Stadium modes to try out. This event goes beyond just gameplay itself however, sporting yet another tournament for those who wish to demonstrate their skills in

Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U. As an added bonus, those who emerge victorious will have the unique opportunity to obtain a Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Limited Edition Pack, coming with a red Smash Bros. 3DS XL with Smash Bros. installed. Thirty-four fighters will be able to go home with this, but those who prefer to show off their skills in the cosplay department will also have the opportunity to compete, potentially winning the same prize.

EGX London 2014 takes place from this Thursday the 25th, to Sunday the 29th, at Early Court, London. Are any of you planning on going? Take pictures for the rest of us!
