Nintendo has released few new commercials and trailers for Skyward Sword HD recently, one of which focuses on the various quality-of-life fixes to be included in the HD remaster, like optional help from Fi and a button-only mode, among others. In addition to the highlighted improvements, there is a little something that one might have missed if they were not paying attention: an “autosave” feature.

Autosave was not an option in the original release of the game; one had to save manually by going to a bird statue. Why did Nintendo not mention autosaving directly? We may not know why, but this is a huge quality-of-life addition that a lot of seasoned Skyward Sword players will enjoy, along with players who will be new to the game.

What do you think of the addition of autosave to Skyward Sword HD? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to follow Zelda Dungeon as we continue to follow Skyward Sword HD when it releases on July 16th.
