Skyward Sword Bundle in Top Ten Preorders!

The Special Edition bundle of Skyward Sword – including the gold Wii Remote Plus and the music CD – has made it into GameStop’s top ten pre-ordered products on gamestop.com. The game releases on November 20th, two months from today, and this shows that Zelda fans, and probably the rest of the gaming community, are getting excited!

Skyward Sword is chiming in at number seven on the pre-order list. It’s the only Wii game on the top ten, and is coming in right behind popular titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. See my thoughts on this after the jump!

I personally am pretty happy that a Zelda title is up at the top with the popular shooter games; as much as you and I may love it, Zelda hasn’t been getting much love from the hardcore gaming community recently. This will all change with Skyward Sword’s 1:1 motion controls, massive story, and the upgrade system. It is shaping up to be a beautiful game and will definitely be one of the top games of the year across all platforms.
