We’ve heard all about the amazing Skyward Sword bundle from a Nintendo of America press release, but questions quickly arose whether this would be worldwide or just limited to America. Nintendo hasn’t been very consistent with such deals in recent times, as if you recall it seemed almost every single territory got something different bundled with Ocarina of Time 3D. Well, it seems that Nintendo is doing things right this time around and it appears we are heading in the direction that all territories will get this bundle.

EB Games in Australia is already taking pre-orders for the Skyward Sword bundle and it is running at the price of $118. This converts to about $126 in United States Dollars. Quite pricey indeed, but Aussie’s have been paying more for their video games and consoles in recent times, so this is no different. The regular version of the game will be available for $98. You know, if you live in Australia, it’s at the point where you would save significant money over a consoles generation if you just bought yours from the United States, imported it, and just bought the Nintendo of America versions of each game. The whole pricing is kind of silly, but this isn’t just Nintendo, all major players overprice their goodies down under.

Unlike the Ocarina of Time 3D bundles, the Skyward Sword bundles is more of a necessity. While Wii Sports Resort sold very well, there is still a very large percentage of fans out there that just don’t have a Wii Motion Plus. So instead of forcing them to buy one of those tedious add-ons, they are bundling a Wii Remote Plus. I have to say, the Wii Remote Plus is just so much better to hold than a Wii Remote with a Wii Motion Plus attached to it.

I personally already have a Wii Motion Plus from when I bought Wii Sports Resort and I also have a black Wii Remote Plus from when I bought the new Mario Kart Wii bundle. Even so, Skyward Sword will now put be at 4 Wiimotes, meaning my friends will no longer have to bring over, (and subsequently forget to take back), their Wiimotes whenever we have game-party nights.

Anyway, it’s nice that Nintendo is bundling this controller for such a cheap price. The Wii Remote Plus controllers have a stand alone cost of $39.99 here in the United States, or you could find them bundled with games like Wii Play Motion for $49.99. At the additional cost of just $20, plus the fact that it is gold plated with the Skyward Sword emblem on it, the bundle makes for a definite purchase in my book.

Skyward Sword is set to hit stores on November 18th in Europe and November 20th here in North America.
