Rumor: New Model for the Nintendo Switch Set to Launch in 2019

Nintendo’s latest popular console, the Switch, is reportedly going to have a new model unveiled during the year of 2019. Recently reported by The Wall Street Journal, this move will be made in order to boost sales for the Switch, after slipping from the spectacular launch they had in 2017.
According to this report, Nintendo is “still debating” which new features to include in the new model, aside from support of the existing current software. The dominant option being discussed is to include an upgraded screen, much like those found in smartphones LCDs. That would make the Switch “brighter, thinner and more energy-efficient,” according to the report.
