Replica Fibre Glass Hylian Shield

Over at HalloweenCostumes for sale they have a replica of the Hylian Shield. The shield will set you back $68.99 which might be seen as a high price to pay for a replica shield. Check out the details below and jump on in to hear my thoughts.

This fiberglass shield is heavy, and comes with hardware such as a handle, Velcro straps, and a mount so that the shield could be worn on the back with additional components. The shield also has a chain attached to the back for carrying or hanging. Measures approximately 17″ wide and 24″ long. After reading the description and looking at the picture of the shield, I can safely say that this shield is faithful to the original Hylian Shield carried by Link. I can’t comment on the quality of the shield, although from the description it sounds like it is a fairly solid shield. As stated in the description, it comes with a handle and velcro straps, which would be used for carrying the shield and it also has a chain on the back used for hanging the shield from a wall. Personally, I won’t be buying this replica, seeing as I already own a replica Hylian Shield, but from the looks of this, it would be a great addition to any Zelda collection.
