We have all been waiting for this moment: game publisher Bandi Namco has announced that Dark Souls Remastered is coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 19 of this year. Game developer From Software has also announced the anticipated release date on Twitter:
We have kept you waiting long enough, and now are pleased to announce
that the Nintendo Switch version of DARK SOULS REMASTERED will be
released on the 19th October, 2018.
Finally we hope you can look forward to playing Dark Souls wherever, whenever you wish. pic.twitter.com/F8z8AjUIPA— FROMSOFTWARE (@fromsoftware_pr) 14 באוגוסט 2018
After being scheduled for release along with the other versions (PS4, Xbox One and PC), the Switch launch was delayed for summer back in April, with no explicit reasons given from Bandi Namco. Not many details for the Switch Dark Souls launch were made following the announcement about the delay, so this news brings with it anticipation and excitement.
Will you be sitting down to play Dark Souls Remastered on the Switch when it releases? Let us know down in the comments!
