Of all the cozy locations in the Zelda series, the Lumpy Pumpkin is one of the most overlooked cozy places in the entire series. This fine establishment, which is located on Pumpkin Landing near the green Column of Light, is one of the most memorable locations in Skyward Sword. The Lumpy Pumpkin is run by the curmudgeonly Pumm and his friendly daughter Kina. The player can have a lot of fun in and around the Lumpy Pumpkin and Pumpkin Landing. The player can get hints from customers about Batreaux, they can cause some chaos by breaking the chandelier, and they can eventually use their harp to perform a duet with the lovely Kina.

This relaxing cover of “Lumpy Pumpkin” by Steve Morris perfectly captures the soothing vibes of the original song. In this cover, Morris uses a variety of instruments including an acoustic guitar, bass guitar, banjo, accordion, melodica, drums and some whistling. This remix has a rich sound, and all of the instruments harmonize nicely. It is a great song to listen to after a long day when you just need to take a break. For anyone not familiar with a melodica, it is an instrument related to the pump organ and harmonica. Performers blow air through a mouthpiece that fits into a hole on the side of the melodica, and the musical key lies on top of the instrument. As shown in the video, it is usually light-weight and portable.

In addition to this calming cover of “Lumpy Pumpkin,” Steve Morris has a YouTube Playlist that features over a dozen Zelda-themed remix and covers. These remixes fit into a variety of genres including funk, jazz, acoustic, and much more! Morris also has a sixteen minute bossa nova album titled “Bossa de Hyrule” available as well.
