QR code for Link’s Outset shirt available in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

In today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced by Nintendo that they had an official artist create a QR Code to use in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. This would allow those who have a copy of the game to let their character to wear the shirt that Link has on at the beginning of The Wind Waker.

For all those who have a copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, click below to see the code and how you can use it to get the shirt!

First you need to have obtained the Sewing Machine for the Able Sisters. If you don’t have this yet, you’ll need to talk to the character Sable (the one who is constantly sewing) at least once everyday for ten days. Eventually she will obtain a new sewing machine and will allow you to use it. This sewing machine will now let you get new designs from QR codes as well as create your own.

Ask her to use the sewing machine and after choosing where to save the design, you can then scan the QR code. Here it is below:

Tada! And there you have it, the Wind Waker shirt! As you can see I’ve already went and used the code. Now other Animal Crossing and Zelda fans can use it too!
