One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X Receives Link Costume Via Amiibo

This week’s issue of Shonen Jump has announced an upcoming update that will allow amiibo support for Bandai Namco’s One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X for the 3DS. The figures will allow players to unlock special costumes based on the amiibo you scan, including a Link outfit for Roronoa Zoro. Interestingly enough, this would make it the second third-party game to receive amiibo support, the first being the Ace Combat remake, also published by Bandai Namco.

The game was released in Japan this past month on Nov. 13, with no plans for a Western release as of this date.
