The music to Ocarina of Time is commonly considered one of the best video game soundtracks ever made. It is probably because of this that Nintendo released a soundtrack to the game exclusively on Club Nintendo in conjunction with the 3D remake release. The only way to acquire the soundtrack was to register the game on one’s Club Nintendo account to claim the CD for free. Although the offer was available internationally however, many missed out due to the very limited quantities in which these were produced. Despite this, another chance to get your hands on the CD has arisen. Hit the jump to find out more!

You may be familiar with the online retailer NCSX; we have featured them previously on Zelda Dungeon, most recently for retailing a set of Japan-exclusive Spirit Tracks figures. They are well known for selling Japanese imports and other rare gaming merchandise. Although the copy of the soundtrack they are selling is the Japanese version, there is no difference between the Japanese and American version apart from the text inside the booklet which comes with the CD. NCSX are currently selling the soundtrack for $38.72, so grab it while you can here.

Despite the fact that Nintendo’s games have some of the best music in the gaming world, it is still pretty rare to see official soundtracks being released in a hard copy – especially for a Zelda game. But are you going to be purchasing this? Or are you one of those lucky few who managed to snag it through the promotion during Ocarina of Time 3D’s release? Tell us in the comments below!
