With the end of 2023 less than a few weeks away, media platforms and first-party game companies from all over have been sharing demographic and activity data on how their users spent this year. Nintendo is no exception to this trend, as yesterday they announced on X (formerly Twitter) that their 2023 “Year in Review” website has gone live.
Look back at all the fun you had with #NintendoSwitch games in 2023 with a personalized wrap-up! You can see what you played most, choose your favorite game of the year, and share your stats with friends.

For those new to Nintendo Year in Review, this service on Nintendo’s website allows users to view different statistics involving their time this year on the Switch. Once you sign in using your Nintendo account, you’ll be able to see how many games you’ve played, the amount hours you’ve played, and much more. They’ll even ask you what your favorite game to play on your Switch was this year. And once you wrap up your Year in Review, you can then share your statistical results with other like-minded gamers online.
Going through my own Nintendo Year in Review, I saw that, while I love Kirby and the Forgotten Land and spent 12 hours with it, I spent over 340 hours with Tears of the Kingdom. This obviously just means that mighty warriors are my cup of tea, no matter what size. It does appear though that I need to start branching out and seeing what our favorite Italian plumber has been up to lately.
What do your Nintendo Year in Review results have to say about you in 2023? Is there anything from your review that caught you by surprise? Let us know in the comments below!
