During this time of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we should all remember that there’s always a chance to help when we can: donating to a good medical causes, helping the less fortunate in their time of need, or self-quarantining to help during this pandemic. In this case, be like Nintendo.
Nintendo of America’s package and distribution center in North Bend, Washington has generously donated over 9,500 N95 Particulate Respirator masks to the Eastside Fire & Rescue (EF&R). According to a thank you post from the North Bend city website, Nintendo representative Jerry Danson contacted EF&R to donate the facemasks.
According to Nintendo, the N95 Particulate Respirator masks were purchased as part of an “emergency preparedness plan” and then put into storage. They figured, given the current global situation, to donate them.
