New Skyward Sword Soundtrack Box Sets To Release Exclusively in Japan

Another awesome piece of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword merchandise will be coming to Japanese fans later this year. Nintendo of Japan has announced the upcoming release of the Skyward Sword original soundtrack through Japanese music label Nippon Columbia. This gorgeous box set will be available in either a standard edition or “First Press Limited Edition,” the latter of which comes with a miniature music box that plays the iconic “Ballad of the Goddess”. This is sure to be a sought-after trinket for die-hard Zelda fans!
The standard edition of this release will cost 5,500 yen (approx. $50 USD) and will contain all 187 music tracks from Skyward Sword split across five discs, housed in a tall, impressive case. Those willing to spend 8,800 yen (approx. $80 USD) for the limited edition will receive the aforementioned discs and case, plus a luxurious , secondary casing and the “Ballad of the Goddess” music box.
Both editions will be available on November 23rd, 2021 at music shops throughout Japan, as well as Nintendo Tokyo. Pre-orders are currently open at the Japanese My Nintendo storefront and the Columbia Music Shop (the standard edition is listed here, and the limited edition is listed here). Bear in mind, a Japanese address is needed to place orders.
