New Hyrule Warriors Trailer Reveals the Fire Rod

In yet another stunning trailer, Nintendo has shown us what the Fire Rod looks like when a player uses its abilities in Hyrule Warriors. Just as you would expect, the graphics and effects only serve to make us crazily impatient (again) for the game’s release.

Here is the video trailer just released on the use of the Fire Rod. Press play and prepare to be amazed!

As you can see, the Fire Rod looks extremely satisfying to play with, as it completely obliterates enemies with a variety of fire storms. The way the rod spreads out, almost like a flower, is a nice aesthetic addition to an otherwise unimpressive base design, and enhances the experience of using it. What seems most impressive about the trailer, and the Fire Rod itself, is that even after seeing the Master Sword, Hookshot, and Midna’s magic hand demolish enemies in trailers and gameplay at E3, the Fire Rod in no way seems inferior or an option that would not be as fun. For a secondary item that isn’t even in all the Zelda games, that is truly an accomplishment.
