Majora’s Memes – You Don’t Say?

Welcome to Majora’s Memes, where we bring you memetic madness weekly!

Like scouring Hyrule Field for bushes that hopefully contain Rupees or bombs or arrows, we search the Internet for Zelda-related laughs. This week, I thought I’d try something different and do a post without user-contributed memes. Rest assured though, I saw the ones left last week and appreciate them. Some of them might even make it into next week, but I thought it would be good to stir things up a bit.

Our first post comes from serkan on Memecenter. Honestly, this meme could apply to a LOT of situations where Navi, or especially Fi is involved.

The second post of the week is also from Memecenter but was posted by yamiryuuzero. Pretty much speaks for itself if you sympathize with the post above.

I don’t think I’ve ever used the “Overly Attached Girlfriend” meme. Granted, it’s combined with the Christian Bale meme, but honestly it’s probably justifiable. This post was also on Memecenter courtesy of ademar666.

What a twist! Nintendo could probably use that as the premise of the story mode in the next Super Smash Bros.! emperorgeek9, you’re a genius! Wait…kinda already was done, wasn’t it? I mean yeah, it was Wario, but Bowser was involved!

This one from Gert is a twofer: pots, and the IGN reaction meme cleverly reversed.

And our final post of the week actually comes from Memebase! An anonymous poster posted this. I really like the fairy recent “Nope” meme. My roommates and I had something like it shortly before where we would say “40 years of no,” but “Nope” of course is more succinct. This was probably my first reaction to Peahats in Ocarina of Time, if only because my first exposure to them was the original Legend of Zelda, and I had no idea they could be that big.

That wraps it up for this week in Majora’s Memes! Stay classy Kakariko.
