Majora’s Memes – Quizalfos

Welcome to Majora’s Memes, where we bring you memetic madness weekly!

Like scouring Hyrule Field for bushes that hopefully contain Rupees or bombs or arrows, we search the Internet for Zelda-related laughs. This week we owe an anonymous Forum member, JucieJ, TReXD, Max, and linkypete oh…about 20 rupees? 20 rupees. For their memes they contributed! In fact, this week is a first for Majora’s Memes in that it’s the first post to be made up entirely of user contributed material! Sometimes the stuff on Memebase just doesn’t cut it. It’s been really great to see more and more input from you guys, but as always, keep in mind that there’s a line between a meme and just fanwork. That said, what didn’t make it into this article was still pretty neat! Hit the jump to see our memes this week!

An anonymous Forum member of the Zelda Dungeon forums made this meme, which is of course a spin on last week’s title post “Philosoraptor.” Thank you to Jucie J for bringing “Quizalfos” to our attention!

We also have TReXD to thank once again for not one, but three memes this week! This first meme format has always given me a chuckle, especially when I can relate to the profession. I guess this one from Smosh is no different.

This one that TReXD got from Fanpop is a bit of a groaner, but worth posting just the same.

A lot of my friends really like using this meme, but it’s unique in that it never really gets old for me. Maybe it’s Allie Brosh’s charm.

Max is another returning contributor, and like TReXD, he’s also giving us multiple memes this week. Four to be exact, so brownie points to Max! I have to admit, I don’t really remember this part of Skyward Sword, but I’m sure I’ll notice it on my next play through.

Oh, I feel the pain in this one. That Rage Face is pretty much mine whenever something like that happens.

If we’re all honest, I think we understand where Link is coming from. At least a little. But then actions speak louder than words, so make of that what you will.

He may be the most interesting man in the world, but I’m not so sure there are too many people with him on this one. You can fight it out in the comments over whether I’m right.

And finally, linkypete gives us our last meme! I have to admit, that has some interesting implications for how the flow of Ocarina of Time could have gone.

Well that about wraps it up for this week! Thanks so much again to everybody who left something in the comments! I’ll say this again too, even if we don’t end up using it, we appreciate it being brought to our attention. Until next week!
