Majora’s Memes – O RLY?

Welcome to Majora’s Memes, where we bring you memetic madness weekly!

Like scouring Hyrule Field for bushes that hopefully contain Rupees or bombs or arrows, we search the Internet for Zelda-related laughs. Last week, we tried going without user-contributed memes. That may happen again in the future, and there may be weeks where they’re all user contributions (we have done that in the past before after all). This week though, it’ll be that nice mix of both, so jump on in!

Our title post actually comes from a forum called Ninstation and was posted by Twilight Hero. I have to say, this made me laugh more than a lot of memes have recently. Maybe because it’s been so long since this meme was big. It could also be the face Kaepora Gaebora’s making. Kinda looks like he’s saying “Did you just sass me?”

Our first user contribution comes from ShadowBeast, who got this image from Memebase. I recently played Ocarina of Time again, and this time I managed to get 100% completion. So I’m pretty guilty of this.

Also from Memebase, LlamaMan9469 raises a question that occurred to me during that last playthrough of Ocarina of Time I mentioned.

First World Problems is one thing, but this anonymous Memebase user seems to think that Link is having First Hyrule Problems.

We can always count on Bob to have some ideas to shoot us for this feature. This week we’ve got three images he posted in the comments. The first one is a fair point. Zelda kind of has some self-defeating tendencies sometimes doesn’t she?

Bob’s second post puts Grumpy Cat to shame. I’m a little nervous to be starting Majora’s Mask soon…

And finally, a mystery that we may never find the answer to.
