Welcome to Majora’s Memes, where we bring you memetic madness weekly!
Like scouring Hyrule Field for bushes that hopefully contain Rupees or bombs or arrows, we search the Internet for Zelda-related laughs. This week we owe our thanks to Krishna Moorthy, Bob, ShadowBeast, and Roth for their meme contributions. You guys are the Heroes of Hyrule! We also have some fun ones from Memebase. And now, cheers that I was able to remember this feature has a new timeslot!
Our first user contributed meme comes from Roth, who originally posted it on Quickmeme under the moniker CaveSage86. Roth has a bunch of other memes, so I only wanted to pick one (plus for some reason the other ones gave me trouble when I tried to upload them). But you should check CaveSage86 out on Quickmeme and see the Inception memes he has there!
Next we have this meme posted anonymously on Memebase. I actually think this would have been more terrifying. I mean, such stern disapproval!
Krishna Moorthy was one of our big contributors last week, and he continues that streak this week. First he brings us a return from our dear friend Philosoraptor. As the edge of the picture shows, it originally came from Memebase, but I don’t know who originally posted it, which goes for most of the memes from Krishna this week.
The Logic meme seems to be pretty popular, as we have a Goron edition this week!
I’m glad to see another version of this meme, it’s one of my favorites. This particular one was originally posted on Smosh.
Despite their prevalence, I don’t think we’ve gotten a demotivational here before. At least it’s been a long time since we have.
Bob also gave us a pretty good one this week. I’m positive there are more instances from the Zelda series where this meme can be used.
My roommate is a huge Doctor Who nut, so I hear the original phrase a lot. But this is the first time I’ve seen it used for Zelda. Thanks to ShadowBeast for sending this one our way.
An anonymous Memebase user posted this image, itself taken from Facebook. My friends and I have done something similar, but with Professor Oak offering starter Pokémon.
Memebase has a bad tendency for posts to be made anonymous. Nevertheless, this rage comic captures a coincidence I’m sure some of us have experienced ourselves.
Finally breaking the trend, we know that this Memebase post was made by Clucknadus. Apparently Admiral Ackbar is an Oracle of Seasons fan.
And our final post from redazul is a three-fer. A Zelda meme, a Soviet Russia joke, and a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic meme. Good way to end this week I’d say.
