Majora’s Mask Replica on Kickstarter
Posted on May 25 2015 by Brooke Ferdinansen
With the release of Majora’s Mask 3D, merchandise has grown high in demand as more and more people want to get a hold on their very own Majora’s Mask. Kickstarter campaign by Christiane Gohring aims to create a silicone Majora’s Mask replica, complete with casting resin to maintain strength and resistance without the heavy weight. This project is about half-funded with several days remaining, so click the jump to hear more!
Christiane uses polymer clay as the base, topped with urethane casting resin which serves as remarkable resistance. The mask is also hollow, making the mask light enough (approximately 1 kilogram, or 2.2 pounds). Additionally, the mask is cleaned and primed, giving it a shiny, polished look. The mask has a measurement of 17 x 15 x 2.8 inches, making it a considerable size for decoration or function! It will also be painted as shown above, completing this high-quality mask!
If this Kickstarter campaign reaches its goal, A 250 EUD pledge (about 275 USD) will get you a complete mask, which is a deal considering the materials that go into it. The project is almost fully funded, so check it out!
