Animator and YouTube member ArtistGamerGal recently posted their latest video. A parody of the transformation sequence from Sailor Moon only with Link as the Sailor Guardian titled Sailor Majora’s Moon Mask. In the video we see Link in his fight with Majora put on the Fierce Deity mask which activates the transformation. Jump inside to check it out for yourself.

We seem to be having a run of fan made items recently, especially shields, but there’s always something great to show off. This time, though, it’s something a little more professional that you can buy through Storm Cup Creations: mask wall hangings. Among other things, the company makes small versions of numerous masks from Majora’s Mask that can be hung and displayed on walls– and they look really good. Take the jump to see some of what’s on offer.

It might not keep away Stalchildren, or let you travel faster than you usually do, but it will certainly look amazing. The wooden artisans over at ‘The Wolf of Bees Workshop’ have faithfully re-created the extremely useful Bunny Hood from Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, giving it a modern looking swagger with a tasty wooden aesthetic. Make the jump (or should I say hop) to check out some pictures of this beautiful piece!

The hype is real! We are just days removed from the release of the much anticipated Majora’s Mask 3D and Nintendo is keeping the spirit alive. Today Nintendo of Japan posted on their YouTube page a six minute exhibition of the action elements present in Majora’s Mask 3D. The half video, half commercial is narrated by none other than the mysterious Happy Mask Salesman as he takes us on an adventure with some of the most formidable foes Termina has…

Majora’s Mask is well known for, well, having a lot of masks. 24 to be exact, four of which being the main transformation masks, and 20 being considered “normal” or “minor” masks which aid with the multitude of side quests throughout the game. While players find a variety of uses for each of Link’s transformation masks, save maybe Fierce Deity, some of the minor masks seem to come up short in usefulness. Yes, the Blast Mask allows for infinite bombs…

Fans who have kept track of the Zelda Kickstarter campaigns that tend to appear will know well that Majora’s Mask is a very popular source for these projects. Most of the time, they’re primarily focused on creating replicas of the titular mask, and they tend to be funded rather successfully. One fan and mask-making veteran, however, has decided to up the ante, and is currently pursuing a project that the biggest fans of Majora’s Mask shouldn’t risk missing out on…

Have you ever wanted to bound around like Link with the whimsical Bunny Hood topping your head? Sadly this neat little craft being featured will not grant you extraordinary bouncing abilities, but it will definitely look especially fun adorning you or being featured somewhere else. A craft-centric artist on Etsy has made her own version of a real life Bunny Hood. What Erika Clark, Etsy user xXxMerciBokuxXx, has created is a seemingly flawless replication of the item. This fresh, classy…

A Kickstarter campaign to create wearable life-sized replicas of Majora’s Mask has exceeded its goal of raising $1,700. In total, 19 backers have pledged $6,685 to the project so far, with 24 days left to go before the deadline. The creation of the masks is related to the “Happy Mask Campaign” being organised by Operation Moonfall. Find out more about these costume Zelda replicas after the jump.

Majora’s Mask is definitely my favorite Zelda, though for different reasons than most. While I love the side-quests and the depressing themes present, what sells the game for me is the dramatic and serious elements in the game. The Moon is going to crash and kill everyone in Termina if you, the hero, do not intervene and save them. Nothing in Termina will remain. All those characters, with their intricate routines and side-quests… gone. Tragic, isn’t it? Except for the…
