As a surprise announcement, Nintendo today revealed that North American customers who pre-order Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. at GameStop will receive a pin shaped like the infamous Majora’s Mask as an additional bonus.
The aforementioned pin is the same as the one revealed in the last Nintendo Direct as one of the items included in the European Collector’s Edition of Majora’s Mask 3D, giving North American fans the chance to get their hands on one as well. Pre-order bonuses can be a little deceiving, and an easy way for companies and their partners to rake in money before the game is actually released, but if today’s information alongside past information regarding Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is any indicator, it should be money well spent.
Are you happy to see Nintendo giving North American fans a chance to get their hands on one of these pins? Is this a strong enough incentive to pre-order Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. and will you be doing so? Let us know in the comments!
