Info for Hyrule Warriors Update and Final DLC Pack Released

To coincide with the release of Majora’s Mask 3D a Majora’s Mask themed DLC for Hyrule Warriors was made available a couple of weeks ago. Along with this DLC came an update providing a higher level cap, more potion mixes, more medals to earn and other things. There is still one more DLC pack to be released and information on what it contains has been announced. Get the scoop and see some screen shots after the jump!

 

The pack seems to be known as the ‘Ganon Pack’ in Japan but is referred to as the ‘Boss Pack’ in the west. Due for release in Japan on February 26th (March 12th everywhere else) the pack will contain the Boss Challenge which pits you against bosses to gain high scores and unlock costumes for Link, Zelda, and Lana; as well as Ganon Play which allows you to play as Beast Ganon. In this mode you’ll be taking on hoards of enemies to unlock costumes for Ganondorf and Cia, but that is all that has been revealed so far.

Update 1.6.0, which will be released at the same time, will provide the usual benefits of an even higher level cap and new potion mixtures, but will also include an extended challenge mode and a fix to the bug that is causing increased loading time. At least the Boss Challenge will make it a bit quicker to get some of those elusive materials for creating badges, and sorting out the loading times will certainly be a welcome fix.
