hyrule-warriors-logoAccording to the Nintendo Official Twitter Account today there will be absolutely no voice acting in the upcoming Hyrule Warriors. Instead they will maintain the same voices that have been traditionally used for Zelda games.

Translated from the Twitter page,

“Each character’s voice is modeled after the Zelda universe”

“It will have that ‘Hey! Listen!’ kind of feeling.”

So it look like the traditional “Hyaaaa” “Eeeeyup” and “Waaaaahhhhhhh” are still going to be present in this installment. But no long conversations between Link and Zelda. Now this only leaves one to ask, will we see text from Link in this game?

Honestly I am actually a little disappointed in yet again not having any voice acting in a Zelda game. I have never really been a part of the no voices camp, nor have I understood the need to maintain it after so many years and console generations. Of course this aims top please some of the more longtime Zelda fans. I was hoping we might see a few changes for the better in this game but it looks like a few things might stay the same.
