Hidden Triforce of Wisdom Scholarship Essay Contest 2015

So, I’m going to go ahead and guess that you like The Legend of Zelda. I’m also going to really make a stretch here and say that you probably like money? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then you have to ask yourself one more question. Are you a senior in high school or currently enrolled in a college within the United States? If that answer was also yes, then you are eligible to take part in the Hidden Triforce of Wisdom Scholarship Essay Contest (holy crap, that title) for a chance to win $500. Before there is any confusion, this is not a cash reward but is indeed a scholarship only. What’s the challenge, you ask? “Describe a time when you have displayed an exceptional amount of courage or wisdom to accomplish a goal in life” in 500-2000 words.

Major: Any Bachelor or Associates Program at an accredited school or institute
Class Level: High School Senior or enrolled college student
Enrollment Status: Full or Part-time
Citizenship Status: US Citizen
Annual Amount Awarded: $500
Number of Awards: 1/annually
Application Deadline (Updated): December 15, 2015
Winner will be announced by January 31, 2016
Essay:
Student must submit a written essay on the following subject. The essay should be 500-2000 words. Please submit the essay in a Word or PDF document.
– Describe a time when you have displayed an exceptional amount of courage or wisdom to accomplish a goal in life.

Seriously, if you have any free time and you fit the criteria above, go to the website and at least try. It doesn’t matter if you are a writer or not, this is an opportunity to grow yourself and prepare for college and a career. If you win, you get a $500 scholarship! If you don’t, you have an essay ready to go for your next school writing assignment.
