I personally think that Skyward Sword certainly did go out of it’s way to rise above many of the Zelda games of the past. After the release of the DS Zeldas, my opinion of the series in general kind of dwindled. I can’t say that I was extremely stoked for Skyward Sword, but it’s made me very happy so far. The game really impressed me, and I thoroughly enjoyed the controls and new devices added into the game. I feel like the difficulty was really stepped up from some previous installments, yet it’s great for a lot of casual gamers.
