Gossip Stone: Should Any Other Characters From Twilight Princess HD Have Amiibos?

Hello everybody and welcome to the latest edition of Gossip Stone. With the official announcement of Twilight Princess HD in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, much excitement is stirring in the community. A new amiibo has also been announced featuring Wolf Link and Midna. This new amiibo looks amazing but it only makes us wonder what other characters from Twilight Princess should get an amiibo. I’m going to be listing a couple more characters that I believe should get an ammibo as well as why, so with that guys, let’s head right into today’s Gossip Stone!

So to start things off today, I believe that Zant should definitely be next in line for an amiibo. He is the main threat that you will be seeing throughout most of the story and he is also quite a unique character. He can be quite a bit off the rails at times which adds to his strange and eccentric personality. His overall character design is really cool in my opinion. Zant is also a Hyrule Warriors  character, so his amiibo could also have some sort of functionality in that game as well.

Next I’d like to mention Ilia. Ilia I feel was one of Link’s strongest motivations throughout the game, especially after she lost his memory of him. She is seen quite frequently throughout the game as well. Illia wasn’t just a character that just sat around doing nothing. Illia wasn’t always sitting around waiting either, for example, she assisted in the rescue of the Zora Prince. I’m not sure how this amiibo could function in Twilight Princess HD but it could unlock the Ilia costume for Zelda in Hyrule Warriors.

Finally, Oocoo and Ooccoo Jr. This pair could be featured as one amiibo, like Wolf Link and Midna. Ooccoo is found in every dungeon and she is on quest to find something to return her to her home in the sky. You later meet her son Ooccoo Jr. and her can teleport you out of a dungeon and back in, right where you left off and that can be quite useful. This amiibo could make Ooccoo Jr. appear right away in the first dungeon with Ooccoo which would be extremely convenient.
