GameXplain Discusses the Possibility of the Happy Mask Salesman in a Future Zelda Game

The other day we covered a “Miiting” between Nintendo and the Happy Mask Salesman on Miiverse. Included in this meeting was the Happy Mask Salesman seemingly dropping hints, such as:
“If this keeps going, maybe it wouldn’t be a stretch to expect me to pop up in a new Zelda game too…?”
Some have claimed that this basically confirms the existence of the Happy Mask Salesman in a future Zelda title, otherwise Nintendo wouldn’t have had him say so on Miiverse. Others say Nintendo is just trying to create a buzz about the upcoming release Zelda U later in 2015. (Maybe earlier than we think!)
It seems as though we are not the only ones that noticed this gleeful character teasing a future appearance, as GameXplain has dedicated an entire video to discussing the subject, as well as Majora’s Mask 3D in general. A lot of theorization goes on, and some eye-pleasing footage of Zelda U, A Link Between Worlds, and Majora’s Mask 3D is included to watch while you listen!
