As the weather gets colder, everyone is busy getting ready for hot chocolate, coffee and delicious soup to warm us up on those chilly nights. If you want to take advantage of the fall season, you can check out this recipe by Pwnapplez on his YouTube channel, where he shows us how to make Yeto’s Supreme Soup from Twilight Princess. You might be thinking it’s impossible to combine pumpkin with goat cheese and fish heads, but Peter the Chef really surprises himself and his audience with some delectable results. He even tastes his dish at the end of the video!

The recipe calls for a number of ingredients and looks a little challenging to make. So if you’re anything like me and have hardly any experience in the kitchen, it might be a good idea to have a friend that can help you make Yeto’s Soup. By the end however, you’ll find that this is quite a tasty dish perfect for a cozy dinner.

These are the ingredients required:

  • 2 pounds of seeded and peeled pumpkin (You can use canned pumpkin as an alternative)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup of chopped, white onion
  • 1 cup of carrots, cut up in chunks
  • 2 potatoes cut up in chunks
  • 1 cup of celery, cut up in chunks
  • 4 cups of fish stock (You can use chicken or vegetable stock as an alternative)
  • 8 ounces of goat cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 Salmon filet, seasoned with salt and pepper

You might be a little hesitant to try this out if you don’t like fish, but if you follow the recipe and cook the salmon just right, you’ll be gulping down bottles of this mouthwatering soup. It might even be a perfect dish to bring for Thanksgiving. Be sure to watch Peter’s video above and support him as the proceeds of this will help the Puerto Rico hurricane relief.
